Down Payment Assistance
The Down Payment Assistance program provides financial assistance toward the down payment on a home purchase for first time buyers. The home must be within the tribe’s specific service area. The applicant must be at, or below, 80% of the area median income, and they must complete the First Time Home Buyer’s ‘Pathway’s course.

The Northern Circle Indian Housing Authority Board of Commissioners has established the following income limits to be eligible for our income based programs. The following limits are effective starting March 14, 2026.
The income limits shown here are based on an annual household income of 80% of Area Median Income based on the number of household members.
