The Maidu Mountain Lion Housing Development is a multi-phase, new housing construction project in Oroville, CA. To be developed on fee simple land, this project will consist of 12 Single Family Homes for Berry Creek Rancheria Tribal families at or below 60% Area Median Income and 10 Elder Homes for Berry Creek Rancheria Tribal Elders. The project is currently under pre-development with a contract established between NCIHA and LACO Associates to create the necessary documents to develop phases I and II.

Demolition of 4001 Hildale Ave
December 5, 2025

4001 Hildale Ave has been demolished! We are now able to continue forward with the Maidu Mountain Lion plans.

Road Naming Gathering
July 15, 2025

The Berry Creek Language Group gathered together to create and choose 3 new road names. They will be submitted to Butte County by July 29th.
